Bought these phones to replace the ones given to me when I signed up for digital phone service from the cable Co. Those phones were poorly built and didnot last a year. As I have only had these a month , I cannot comment on their longevity, however I am already impressed with their ease of use and sound quality.

It had been 5 to 7 years since our last update of our home 'phone system and I researched Consumers Report and Amazon's reviews for the best fit and cost. The ATT DECT 6.0 is an excellent phone system that has supurb range and sound quality. It appears to be well made and we are very satisfied with the purchase. There are plenty of options that are easy to use after you review the manual.

This is my second set. The first was killed by lightning when my house was hi. They are easy to program and work great.

I needed a new phone when the one I had was starting to go (and the batteries weren't holding their charge any longer) and did some research on this AT&T model. Not only did this phone receive great reviews, but the price was the best I found on the web (about 1/2 of some other retailers).
The sound clarity is wonderful; when I call my Mom in Florida, it sounds like she's right there...no static or anything.
I would recommend this phone to anyone looking to replace or upgrade.

A great replacement for our old tape answering machine. All the information stored in the base (recorded calls, directory, ringtones, etc) is available from any handset. The base is on the first floor and one unit is in an upstairs bedroom and one in the basement. Reception is fine everywhere. For the price I highly recommend this phone system plus you can expand it up to 12 phones total. Additional phones are $18 at Wal*Mart.
