the phone was easy to use right out of the box. i like the ability to change/edit the name attached to numbers (if you have caller i.d.) i can change CELL PHONE to the person's name

I went with this phone based on the price and all the good reviews of it. I am not sorry I did. For the money, you couldn't ask for more. Two quality phones for 36 bucks....are you kidding? But that's what you get with this buy. The sound quality of the phone is excellent. No clicks or static or anything.....and I mean ZERO interference....not just minimal, like most phones. And it works well in every room in my house. My only semi-unhappiness about the phone is when I'm speaking to others. I like to be able to hear myself when I'm talking and know that the other person is hearing me. But with this phone, it sounds like you're talking into a dead receiver and it is hard to know how loudly to talk. There is no feedback of your voice in the earpiece and it's annoying. With that being said, I haven't run into any situation where people can't hear me. They say my voice is fine. So as far as the phone working, it's great. I think this may be a feature all phone have nowadays. Other than that, all features are very easy to use. Someone on here said the phone is not white, it's silver? I disagree with that. When looking at the phone, it looks white....kind of a pearly white actually. You can't go wrong with this phone. I'm very happy with my buy.

I was surprised to find that the phone has no answer machine. I have to logon my computer and email to check if I have messages, not convenient. I didn't expect that at all. Even I keep it because I will get another line for my business, otherwise I would have returned back.

This is without a doubt the nicest phone set I've every owned. Not only is it easy to operate, it has great sound quality, portability and extremely lightweight. I love the CID and voicemail operations which make it easy to answer and retrieve messages. Directions were clear and concise. Happy with my research and the accurate recommendations written to make my purchase a solid choice. Love the phone and thanks AT&T for hitting a grand slam!

Once again AT&T lags behind. This is barely a telephone. It lacks an answering machine, a headset port, a belt hook, & other options normally found in modern phones. I was sufficiently frustrated with this thing that I returned it, something I hate to be bothered with. This AT&T phone is bare bones, just barely!
