Product Description DECT 6.0 Technology means less interference. Engineered to work in 1.9GHz frequency, our DECT 6.0 phones wont conflict with common wireless devices such as 2.4GHz routers, wireless keyboards and mouses, microwave ovens and other household items. And because its digital, youll enjoy long range and clear sound while deterring eavesdropping.
Call Block. Store the Caller ID info of any and all unwanted callers into your phones Call Block list so that you can eliminate future pesky calls from them. After their information is stored, theyll get a busy signal if they call you again. Silent Mode.
Now you can program each handset to ring or not at your discretion. For example, before you go to sleep, set the bedside handset to Silent Mode so that it wont ring for the duration of your slumber. In the meantime, the handset in another room is unaffected, and rings as usual. Talking Caller ID/Talking Alarm Clock/Talking Battery Alert. Now you dont have to be holding the phone to see whos calling; using text-to-speech technology, the caller ID information is announced in between rings! The phone also boasts an alarm clock that speaks to you, as in Its time for lunch. And the phone politely tells you when your battery is low with a Please charge phone reminder.

cordless phones September 5, 2010 Nancy M (CT) Nice looking, works great. Only wish deleting caller id's didn't take 3 steps. Otherwise I would recommend.
Excellent Panasonic phone July 31, 2010 Alex Freidin (CARMEL, INDIANA, US) After 5 years of daily use, some buttons of my previous Panasonic stopped responding, so it was replaced by this one.
The sound quality is excellent, the display and fonts are bigger than in my previous model. The buttons are back-lit, which is essential at night. Unfortunately, the three upper buttons for opening phonebook, menu and redial are NOT backlit. BTW, the redial memory is quite short compared to my mobile phone, although it has at least (or only?) 10 numbers.
The voice caller ID is very useful. Another nice feature is the programmable silent mode. Unfortunately, I can't specify two silent mode ranges, e.g. 14-16 and 12-7. The answering machine is OK.
If you live outside US, you'll need to replace the power adapters. While most of the appliances today use universal power adapters (110/220V), Panasonic ships with 110V only. Same true for other Panasonic phones as well.
Overall, it's a good buy, inexpensive, good sound quality and feature rich.
.Excellent product June 10, 2010 Reno J. Cyr Everything about this product is excellent. The features, performance, and most of all the reliability are by far the best that I have owned up to now. thank you
Great telephone loaded with features June 5, 2010 A. Hayden (Atlanta, GA) After considerable research, I purchased this phone 2 weeks ago and it has not disappointed. The display is large enough to read without my reading glasses, the sound quality is great (no interference from the microwave or my ATT UVerse box), the battery life is good (AA rechargeables so no problem when they need replacement), the range is decent and the ability to assign ring tones to groups of people or to individuals in the phone book means no need to even see the phone to know who's calling. The answering machine works well and remote access is simple.
"Programming" this phone is not exactly intuitive and the manual is an absolute necessity so don't lose it!
If you are in the market for a new cordless phone, this is a great choice.
replacing old panasonic with new panasonic June 1, 2010 Canonman (Long Beach, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We had a Panasonic portable for years and it finally stopped working. I bought a new product,
and tried to program it, finally gave up, and returned it. I ordered the Panasonic and found the programming
very easy. No problem setting it up. I do like the block call feature. My only disappointment
is the phone book. It only stores 50 numbers. Sounds like a lot, but when I started transferring
numbers from my cell (holds 100) I had to decide which 50 to include. Other than that it is
a good phone and would recommend it.
