 Close but no cigar! September 5, 2010

It takes way too many key strokes to listen to and delete messages, was not user friendly for navigation and did not have any decent ring tones - like a simple telephone ringing instead of all the annoying "cute" rings. I returned it and glad I did. The best part? Amazon is great for returning things. No hassle.

Great easy to set up easy to read display range is limited if you get a little ways from the base unit and there is no beeping on base or hand held unit to tell you have a message on the answering machine you have to look at the display screen i guess we will get used to that part but overall we are very happy with them
Print Display is Too Small August 19, 2010

The display print is much too small for an aging population. There are some black on black keys which provide no contrast consequently it is difficult to read. The battery life is good; the range is good. If you don't have perfect vision you will have to run for glasses if you want to see who's calling or to use some of the features.

I can understand that there is a limited amount of real estate on the face of the phone but to put the off button right below the #2 line button seems a bit shortsighted. As a second phone, it was a bit overpriced.

Something Fishy
I ordered 2 handsets and returned them for a full refund.
My concern was that both boxes where opened and re-boxed in the origional packages. The explanation (from the vendor) was that they check all products for functionality before sending.
I won't accept any product from any store where the manufacturer seals are broken.
